Happy Birthday Piper and other happenings in March

Okay so wrapping a present is not my fortey. I used a blanket. I can't believe my baby girl is 3 already, though if you ask her she will say. "I am not a baby!" Happy Birthday Princess!

Piper likes her kitchen so much she comes down every night to "cook" dinner.

My former roommate and friend Heather Harrison made the birthday cake for Piper. Piper's request was a purple tinkerbell party so she got a tinkerbell cake and purple decorations. The cake looked awesome and tasted so GREAT!

Piper has loved her "Uncle Blake" shirts so much and was devestated when she couldn't fit into them anymore. She now has 5 new uncle Blake shirts to wear for a long time. They are all unique and original, hand made by Blake Jones.

This is a bad picture of Piper but along with Tinkerbell she also really likes Ariel from the little mermaid. Almost everynight after her bath she says she is Ariel with red hair. I am sure this doll will be played with alot.
Rosetta from Tinkerbell, Piper now has a couple different fairy dolls and she carries them all in her new Tinkerbell backpack.

A Loveable purple blouse and skirt for Piper to wear. Since purple is her favorite color I am thinking this is one outfit she will wear at least once a week. :)
Kendell has also had a busy month. He is now 6 months old and growing like a weed. He is sitting up, rolling over, and just tonight I saw a bit of a tooth ready to pop through. I put him on the scale a few days ago and it said 14 pounds but we will see in the next few days after the check up.

The matching pj's we had to take a picture to document it before Kendell got too big for his. I love the monkeys and the green brown combination.

Our family tradition of going to Build a Bear for our anniversary. Of course the kids go with us and help in "making" the newest sibling.  This is Avery Panda Jones
 Avery gets her first bath
Then she needs to get dressed. Kendell is content to play with his toys while waiting.

The naming station where Avery got her name and birth certificate.
Kendell and Daddy hanging out at the Gateway Mall

Piper loved her chocolate dipped pretzel and only gave me one bite. We have a Jones family brick that we had to show Piper and take a picture of us with it.

We went to the Melting Pot for a dinner. Some of the food is better than other's but we still would probably go back for the chocolate or the cheese fondue.

Randi, Cassidy, and Aunt LaWayne also came to dinner with us one night and then back to the hotel swimming. It was fun so visit with them.

our last few months

So we have had alot of fun in the last few months. We enjoy each moment we spend together but are not doing so good at posting here to allow others the opportunity to enjoy our family as well.
Piper is completely potty trained once again!!! We had some regression for a few months after Kendell was born and so over the Christmas break we really focused on it again and have not bought diapers or pull ups for Piper all this year!!! She still has occational accidents and wets the bed (good thing it is a crib matteress still) but for the most part she is doing so good. She loves to help with Kendell and keeps us entertained most days.
Kendell is a joy and such a happy baby. He recently started on solid foods and is completely in love with them. He has had so far only applesaue with or without rice cereal, yellow squash, and french fries. He wanted my sandwich tonight and tried grabbing it with both hands. He will be 6 months old on Sunday. I can't believe how fast these 6 months have flown by. Kendell has rolled over once and I can't seem to get him to do it again. He sees all his friends at school moving and sitting up and really wants to do what they are doing. He is the youngest in the class and tries so hard to keep with with everything.
I am half way through my final semseter before Grad school. Please pray for me to pass my neuro anatomy class and to get accepted into the Graduate program! This semster I am taking 2 classes, working full time, Mom to 2 adoarable kids, wife to my handsome husband, part time cook, part time cleaner, and very much lacking in the area of SLEEP. I wish there was a magic wand I could wave and be done with school, and the education budgets weren't getting cut so much. We are still unsure of how all the new education bills will affect us and our jobs. More of that maybe later. I was going to post pictures of the kids but half of the ones I wanted are on the external hard drive so those will come later.
He was just so cute and peaceful before I had to wake him for school. I know, just wait until he is a teenager right?

 bubbles bubbles bubbles... My bubbles
This was Kendell's Halloween costume and it still fits him big.
Oh ya and Piper is totally in love with Purple and Tinkerbell at the moment.

Random fall/winter pictures

This is some random pictures from the last few months first we have our pumpkin carving. Piper took pictures of Dad and Mom so we took pictures of her and Kendell.

Piper was a pink poodle for Halloween, I know we seem to have a dog theme going on. Every year she is a dog of some kind. Anyway, this year if you ask her she was just a pink dog. We have not been able to convince her yet that a poodle is a dog. We spent the evening with Grandma Ellen and Papa Mike then when we got home Piper's 2 closest friends and their parents our closest friends were waiting to see her. We had to document how cute they all were. Kendell and James were asleep in their respective car seats.

Kendell got a Moby wrap for Christmas and we enjoy using it. I like it so much better than my snuggie, he feels more secure and acctually sleeps in it some times :) Oh I also got my hair cut for my birthday!
One of those days before work, the kids are dressed and ready but I still had to fix my hair so they get to watch from the bed.

I got a chocolate melting pot from my Mom and Dad for my birthday and we have enjoyed using it! We were dipping cinnamon lips for Valentines's Day and Piper wanted her turn to do the dipping.
This is a cinnamon Santa from Thanksgiving candy making with my Mom and sisters. Lacey gave Kendell the Santa to see what he would do with it. He learned at an early age what solid foods (candy) are and how to eat them. Really after the picture was taken and he got his lick it was taken away.
Piper and Eldon had a lot of fun during the Christmas holiday. They got int the check mix and had their own little picnic on a blanket and eat the check mix out of the pink shoes. Good thing they were new shoes out of the box that day. Next is my handsome nephew Eldon wearing Piper's tutu. Oddly enough I do not have a picture of Piper wearing her tutu. That is adorable Paylor behind him.
Spending time with Dad after school.
 Kendell and our wedding rings.
Gound Hog's Day at the Jones house.
I made Piper a pink and purple tutu for Christmas and this is Wes trying it on for size while cleaning up Christmas evening.

Explanation

So in the last few months I have been having problems with pbulishing my posts. I can either post pictures or text but it won't let me do both in one post. Thus I have posts with pictures and the explanation is above it.
We had our family pictures taken by a dear friend in Twin Falls, Jillyn Moon. We went to Shoshone Falls for the outdoor family shots and then to her studio in Eden to finish. We are so happy about the results and wanted to share some of our favorites with you. At the time of taking these pictures Kendell was 1 month old. He has changed so much since then and is such a joy to have in our home. Piper loves to help with him and says multiple times each day that he likes her. Kendell loves to smile and talk to us. He also gets overwhelmed easily and enjoys being able to sit in the bouncer or high chair to have some alone time. In the last few weeks we have been able to put him in the swing and he slept for 2 hours in it yesterday.
