On March 23, 2008 I went into labor around 6:30 in the morning. It was slow starting and took all day long. My mother came up to be with us, Wes' Dad and Bonnie were already staying with us. Finally around 12:30 am the next morning we went into the hospital, I was weak
and got an epidural at 2:30 am and that just about completely stopped progress. Piper joined us in this wonderful crazy world at 2:29 pm March 24th. She has grown and developed so much since that day. She took her first steps on Sunday the 22nd and all week has been getting braver and braver, walking away from furniture to take more steps on her own. She is drinking whole milk and is not having any signs of allergy! We give her "real food" and is not so sure that is what she wants to eat. She climbs all over anything she can and loves being out doors. We are so very thankful to have Piper in our lives and look forward to many more firsts, seconds, and thirds of her experiences and learning. Piper Ashtyn Jones we love you!!!
We had her 12 month check up on Wednesday and discovered she has a double ear inffection, meaning an inffection in both ears which explains why she has not been feeling so well, had the fever of 102.0 It is amazing what modern medicine can do for a miserable little girl in lots of pain. She is her old self again, laughing, playing, teasing!
Her current stats are:
Weight: 18.3 lbs, 9%
Height: 28 in, 18%
